The Complete Works of William Shakespeare Abridged a hilarious spoof that ran
for four sold-out weekends in February 2007 and has been brought back for encore
performances in 2008. (We've seen it and it was hysterical). Three actors romp
through all 37 of Shakespeare's plays in a 90-minute free-for-all that feels a
little like a ride on a Monty Python roller coaster. This comedic feast included
improvisation, audience participation, and references to current culture so
clever it probably had old Will himself sitting up in his grave. Performed at
the Kauai Alliance for Performing Arts in Puhi. No tickets will be sold at the
door unless space permits. Shows at 7pm. Call to reserve your seats and for
ticket ($18) information to (808) 246-8985.
